Ambassador Program
As a member of the Texas Association of Builders (TAB), you are a stakeholder in the Sunbelt Builders Show™. The Show is fully owned and operated by TAB and is its second largest revenue generator, behind the association’s insurance programs. Dues make up only a portion of TAB’s annual budget. TAB counts on the profitability of the Show to provide you with advocacy at the state Capitol, networking opportunities, up-to-the minute industry information and other important services.
Contributing to the success of the Sunbelt Builders Show™ is its volunteers. Sunbelt Ambassadors are the face of the Show year-round and provide valuable assistance to attendees at the Show. If you would like to join the Ambassador team, please complete this form.
By submitting the form to TAB, you agree to market the Show at every opportunity, wear the Sunbelt shirt that will be provided to you as often as possible and work one shift at the Gaylord Texan during the Show. To qualify as an Ambassador, you must be an Associate Member in good standing of a home builders association.
Why Volunteer to be a Sunbelt Ambassador?
By volunteering as an Ambassador, you are Sunbelt. If you are also exhibiting at the Show, you can drive traffic to your booth and increase lead and revenue generation from the Show experience.
Pre-Show, your status as an Ambassador gives you a reason to strike up a conversation with any member of the construction industry: “Have you registered to attend the 2009 Show, October 29 – 31, at the Gaylord Texan in Grapevine?” Once you’ve established a connection with your audience, then you have a natural segue into, for example, a pitch about your company’s products or services.
By serving as an Ambassador, your efforts ensure that members of the construction industry register and attend the Show and that it runs smoothly once it begins on October 29, 2009. You provide a valuable service to both the Sunbelt Builders Show™ and the Texas Association of Builders.
