The Sunbelt Builders Show™ has partnered again this year with GreenCraft Builders and William Peck & Associates to present the 2009 Sunbelt Show House. Award-winners builder Chris Miles and architect Bill Peck worked with the Show to bring you the Bannister House in 2007 and the Colleyville Eco House in 2008. Sunbelt is proud to offer an even more stunning display of sustainable design, building and products to its attendees in 2009.
The TimberCreek Zero Energy House is a 2,500 square foot demonstration project for the Department of Energy's "Building America" program to encourage homeowners and builders to take the next step in living and building in a more fiscally and environmentally sensible manner. This home will incorporate renewable energy resources as well as eco-friendly materials and building practices to achieve a high-performance "net zero" home with minimal impact on the environment.
The Show House, located just 10 minutes from the Gaylord Texan in Lewisville, will be open to all Sunbelt registrants on Friday, October 30, from 3:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. Transportation will be provided from the Gaylord Texan to the house.
